Near Shore Fishing Charter
Nearshore fishing charters, as opposed to “inshore,” features deeper water depths, different tackle and different fish species. A near shore fishing trip can go up to 20 miles from shore. This type of trip would be great for a family outing with children!
What to expect on a near shore fishing trip:
Types of fish targeted on Near Shore trips include:
King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sharks, Amberjack, Bluefish, Bonito, False Albacore, Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Red Drum.
Rates:
6 hour trip: $900
8 hour trip: $1150
All Rates are for up to 4 people. Every additional person is $50.
6 person maximum.
What to expect on a near shore fishing trip:
- We use heavier equipment, tackle and bait
- We go further from the shore
- Fish sizes are generally larger than inshore
- The weather and season can have a larger impact on the type of fish caught
